Strategic Planning for Cultivating & Maintaining a Positive School Culture

We heard the needs of our district leaders loud and clear during our Fall Summit at the Greenbrier. Superintendents and district personnel from all over the country shared that there is a distinct and urgent need for tangible strategies to foster and maintain a positive culture within our school communities. From staff retention to curriculum debates, there are hurdles that we want to help districts overcome by providing education leaders a place to gather with colleagues who understand in ways no one else can.

We know that you are already doing incredible work to build relationships with your staff, students, and families, but new, unforeseen challenges have emerged during the past 21 months. Staff shortages, vocal parent groups, school board meetings, and mounting distrust in our education system are just a few of the obstacles teachers, administrators, and superintendents are facing this school year.

IEI has a unique opportunity to bring education titans together to collaborate, exchange insight, and provide a safe space for these difficult, but necessary conversations. The power of community is immeasurable, and we know that our IEI Family is made up of the most resilient, innovative thinkers. There are amazing feats of success occurring every day in your schools. It is the goal of this Winter 2022 Summit that our participants will leave Puerto Rico with concrete takeaways that can be implemented upon returning home to foster and maintain positive school cultures within their district.

Doug Roberts

CEO & Founder of IEI

Doug Roberts has worked with leading ed-tech entrepreneurs and district administrators for almost 20 years, developing partnerships that improve outcomes for students and help nascent organizations get their "sea legs."

As Founder and President of Educational Solutions Consulting, Doug found that there was a piece of the puzzle missing, a barrier between those who run school districts and those who start companies to help school districts. He partnered with some of the nation's most innovative educational leaders to form IEI to bridge that gap.
